Tender description

The V&A is looking for a supplier to provide a technological and service-based solution to automate many of the processes that are currently manual and improve accuracy and efficiency of the cash handling process. The successful supplier of the cash recycling solution will provide and support a system/solution to the V&A, initially at its South Kensington site. At its core, the solution must provide floats for specific users and securely count in their takings. In addition, the supplier successful supplier will offer a cash collection and banking service and a fully inclusive maintenance service. The contract is for a Cash Recycling Solution for the V&A South Kensington site for three years from the go live date. Offers are invited for a fixed fee for the design, installation, provision, support, training, set up, configuration, onboarding, and maintenance of the equipment, software, consumables and any other related services or supplies to meet the requirement. Collections are to be charged on a per collection basis. Selection and award criteria are stated in the procurement documents, and the award criteria are split between 60 % price and 40 % quality. The contract duration stated in this notice is from the 'go live' date and does not include the implementation period, which is to be agreed with the winning supplier. The contract duration and value stated in this notice are based on the maximum total contract duration including all available extensions, (this includes an allowance for leases made for additional sites).
