Tender description

Ashfield District Council required a sufficiently experienced and qualified leisure operator to undertake the management and operation of its leisure centres to provide services that contribute to the authority’s wider local strategic outcomes as set out in the corporate plan. In order to support and turn our vision into reality we are looking for an operator, who can work collaboratively alongside us and our key partners, primarily Discover Ashfield and the Ashfield Health and Wellbeing Partnership. The district has a challenging landscape with high levels of deprivation, poverty, inactivity and obesity, and together we hope to reduce the health inequalities that exist. Provision of a leisure operating provider to run three leisure centres with the District of Ashfield to include wet and dry facilities as each centre.
