Tender description

AHDB are looking for a PR agency to deliver Press and PR services, such as organising events to increase visibility of QSM in France in both retail and foodservice sectors. This will be for the contract period of 1 year with the option to extend for a further 3 periods of 12 months each, if required. Any extension options will be agreed between AHDB and the successful agency, where upon an extension contract will be drawn up and agreed between both parties. After this date, the opportunity will be put out to tender again if the service is required. AHDB France works to develop awareness of Assurance and Quality schemes such as the Quality Standard Mark (QSM) for beef and lamb, Red Tractor and the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) West Country (beef and lamb). The agency/representative must be based or have a commercial office in France, and must be able to speak French and English. Press and PR events with restaurants — The agency is required to present an innovative project designed to increase the awareness of the quality of assured beef and lamb (QSM) in the food service sector in France. PR event with the Parisian food service sector — in order to develop the awareness of the QSM and the PGI West Country, AHDB France would like the agency to present an activity/event designed to significantly increase the visibility of these schemes to Parisian restaurants. The event would take the format of a seminar/workshop to communicate with participants, followed by a cooking and sampling session to showcase assured products.
