The University requires a residential internet service for guests (minors and adults) staying in its accommodation for short to long term lets. Our students and guests expect a reliable internet provision which is easy to access to enable them to study effectively, and for their personal/social use. Generally, the use is for students during term time but the University also hosts short term guests during the year for attendance at conferences/summer schools, etc. The University is seeking a partner to provide a fully managed and maintained residential network, and network services, capable of meeting current and future student expectations. Suppliers must provide a complete managed service with service desk facilities for residents/guests seeking support to be available 24/7/365. This is to be supported by a range of self-service options.
