Tender description

The procurement exercise was for the provision of electoral printing and associated services including personalisation and direct mailing. Wolverhampton City Council has an electorate of 183 646 on 1 June 2020. The electoral services team manage two primary functions — electoral registration and the running of elections/referenda. The Returning Officer is responsible for the conduct of running a poll, including overseeing the production of poll cards, ballot papers and postal packs to ensure they meet the statutory requirements. In order to ensure that electoral services meet the best value requirements of the Council and the cabinet office (who are responsible for the costs at a national election/referendum), we are putting in place a contract for all electoral services data processing and printing requirements for elections held in the Council’s area for ballot papers, poll cards and postal voter packs.
