Tender description

PPE Ref 6713 Direct award for the Purchase of a Second Hand Flow Cytometer. Second hand Attune NXT Flow Cytometer. This instrument is currently on loan to the University and has been offered for purchase at a significant discount over the current market price for both new and second hand options. The instrument is currently in use in a number of clinical trials and another instrument cannot be used as this would impact the integrity of the data already obtained during these trials. Competition is absent for technical reasons under Regulation 6 (1)(b)(ii) of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016 (the sole supplier exemption).
