Planting and maintenance services of green areas

Tender description

Surrey County Council is seeking contractors to supply services for the maintenance of Surrey's Countryside. The countryside services framework will be used to by Highways and countryside to manage countryside services which include but are not limited to: — arboriculture services, — grounds vegetation and maintenance, — grass cutting and hedge maintenance, — weed control, — traffic management, — ditching, — fencing, — minor structures (including Rights of Way bridges). Services for the maintenance of countryside areas including but not limited to ground work, arboriculture and general vegetation and site clearance. Services for the maintenance of areas close to highways including but not limited to vegetation clearance, drainage, verge repair, ditching and fencing. Arboriculture services to maintain trees on the highway and those on other council land interests. Services to control the growth and removal of highways weeds. Grass Cutting Services across the eleven Boroughs and Districts in the County of Surrey. Services for the maintenance of the Basingstoke Canal.
