Tender description

The machine will include: both the superconducting magnet and the temperature control system as well as electrical transport, magnetometry, and ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectroscopy system. Thermal measurements, Raman spectroscopy and optical measurement should be compatible with the system, but they will be optional requirements. The supply is to include delivery, installation, commissioning, performance verification, operator training and maintenance training. The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) requires a cryogen-free low-temperature and high magnetic field system capable for the measurements of multiple physical properties of materials and devices. It’s automated of the various advanced expandable design combines many features in one instrument, including magnetic AC and DC magnetic susceptibility and electrical transport measurements as well as ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and optical measurement, with no need for liquid cryogens (cryogen-free). The setup needs to be able to work in a wide range of magnetic fields and temperatures.
