NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) are currently reviewing the renewal of the apprenticeship framework, which allows NHS organisations and public bodies to choose from a range of certified suppliers in this area. The support of participating authorities/approved organisations allows optimisation of costs, and a way to maintain existing relationships with quality training providers. It provides the opportunity for national and local providers to bid for the work in order to better meet customer requirements. This robust framework is a compliant route to market, with the option for clients to direct award, overall making the framework process quick and easy to use. This is a prior information notice (PIN) for apprenticeship training services framework agreement. NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) are consulting on a proposal to tender for the provision of apprenticeship training services framework to support NHS Organisations and the wider public sector. This will help define and develop our procurement strategy, in order to meet the needs of NHS Organisations and wider Public Sectors. NHS Shared business services are engaging with potential providers prior to the release of any official tender documents in the Journal of the European Union (OJEU). A renewal of the existing framework aims to provide employers access to a broad range of apprenticeship providers to meet the increasing demand for apprenticeships. Please note there are no documents for the PIN, but the tender documentation will be available for unrestricted and full access when released.
