Criffel - Knockendoch Core Path 103 Upland Path Repair

2. Dumfries and Galloway Council being the contracting authority would like to commission repair work on the core path up one of the regions iconic hills – Criffel. This is the second phase of upgrade work with previous work focusing on the core path route to the summit from Ardwall farm. This second phase will focus on the core path 103 route to the summit via Knockendoch from New Abbey. 2. This is the second phase of upgrade work with previous work focusing on the core path route to the summit from Ardwall farm. This second phase will focus on the core path 103 route to the summit via Knockendoch from New Abbey. This programme will run from December 2020 until June 2021. This contract will consist of the creation of a new path utilising upland path techniques. It will be based on a previous detailed survey and indicative bill of quantities but will require the contractor to use their extensive onsite experience to design the path in detail as it is constructed.
