Tender description

A contract has been awarded by Defra via an existing Framework for an Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) to provide a robust, enduring capability to act primarily as a platform from which MMO inspection teams will observe fishing activity, boarding and inspecting from the OPV as necessary, as a deterrent to illegal fishing activity. The vessel will also be used for other MMO duties within its legal remit e.g. marine conservation.
