The provision of a 24-hour, 365 days a year service for expert advice to the MCA on matters arising from chemical incidents. The provision of a critical 24-hour service providing technical support for HNS incidents occurring within UK waters. In addition to provide trajectory, environmental fate modelling of chemicals in the sea and atmosphere and in-situ monitoring of vapour concentrations.
