Architect led Design Team Services Restructuring and Renovation of Community Sports centre Marsh's Street, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny for use as a Library and Community Centre

Tender description

Kilkenny County Council has identified the need to engage the services of an Architect Led Design Team for the delivery of Stage II (c), Design to Tender, to Stage V, Handover, of a project to renovate and convert the Community Centre sports hall at Marshes Street, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny to incorporate a Public Library and Community Hall. A design for the Community Centre/Library has been prepared, which has been the subject of a planning application in accordance with the provisions of Part XI of the Planning & Development Act 2000, as amended, and Part VIII, Article 81, of Planning and Development Regulations 2001, as amended. The proposed development will be put before the Members of Kilkenny County Council on the 21st December, 2020, for approval. No objections to the project were received during the Part VIII Planning process. The services of a multi-disciplinary, architect led design team is now sought to Review the Current Design, Prepare the Detailed Design, Manage and Deliver the Preparation of Tender Documents, Tender Evaluation, Construction and Handover of the proposed development as per the submitted Part VIII Planning.
