Tender description
Portsmouth City Council (the 'Council') on behalf of the Partnership for South Hampshire (PfSH) is inviting tenders for the delivery a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA), the scope of which will cover the majority of the PfSH region along with the whole local planning authority areas for Test Valley Borough Council and Winchester District Council. The target date for award of contract is 15 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the SFRA will take approximately 1 year to complete. The value of the contract is estimated at between GBP 100 000 — GBP 150 000, however further associated commissions may be let via the contract up to a total cumulative value of GBP 300 000 up to a period of 3 years from commencement of the contract. The Council is acting as sourcing agent and contracting body on behalf of PfSH. The current SFRA for the area was completed in 2007 with subsequent interim updates and reviews in 2012 and 2016 and as a result, the document and mapping is now out of date and needs updating. The target date for award of contract is 15 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the SFRA will take approximately 1 year to complete. The value of the contract is estimated at between GBP 100 000 — GBP 150 000, however further associated commissions, such as subsequent support at local plan examinations, may be let via the contract up to a total cumulative value of GBP 300 000 up to a period of 3 years from commencement of the contract.
