Support services for railway transport

Tender description

Network Rail are awarding a zero value framework agreement with no guarantee of services being awarded under any part of the framework, for the delivery of project support services across the Southern Region. The services will be undertaken primarily within the Southern Region. However, the framework may also be extended to other parts of the UK Rail Network. The framework agreement has been divided into three lots, comprising: commercial services, project management services, and programme controls services. Network Rail envisages that the initial duration of the framework will be 5 years, with options to extend by three further 1-year extensions (5 + 1 + 1 + 1). Network Rail has awarded places to 3 prime suppliers and 1 specialist supplier under each of the commercial services and project management services lots, and 2 prime suppliers under the programme controls lot. The provision of commercial services, including; cost planning and estimating, pre-contract management, post-contract management, and claims assessment. The provision of project management services, including; development management, project management, construction management, constructability and logistics planning, engineering management and sustainability. The provision of programme controls services, including: BIM services, project planning, and risk and value management.
