A software solution and maintenance for the provision of occupational health clearance, ensuring safe recruitment standards are applied for pre-employment checks with a bi-directional feed into the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). The provision of a flexible occupational health software package is required which will allow NHS Wales to electronically manage its occupational health process. A bi-directional interface is essential between the occupational health system and the Electronic Staff Record (ESR)/workforce systems to enable seamless transfer of data/information between the two systems. The following are some essential characteristics of the requirement: • provision of a fully hosted service in a secure environment; • dedicated telephone and e-mail support; • monthly reports on all incidents; • remote diagnostic support; • provision of a dedicated customer services manager; • remote training for users; • data migration from the existing service.
