Tender description

The Service is commissioned by the Learning Disabilities Joint Commissioning team in Gloucestershire as a key part of its Quality Projects to implement the Winterbourne Joint Improvement Programme, and is jointly funded by Gloucestershire County Council and NHS Gloucestershire. The Quality Assessment survey, known as the Quality Compass survey, is a tool developed by the Authority which assesses the quality of care given by providers who are commissioned by the Authority to provide care for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues. The Authority has commissioned an online integrated information technology system to carry out Quality Assessment Surveys using key quality-indicators and shall produce clear, readable reports outlining the results of the Quality Assessment Surveys. The Quality Assessment Survey establishes how a service is meeting the outcomes of Service Users by incorporating consultation with the Service User and their circle of support to form a picture of the service provided to them.
