The purpose of this Contract is to provide design and construction of the exhibition stands at various events throughout the UK. This will involve liaising with participating companies, organisations or individuals and the stand manager for each event. The main focus will be on the construction (build-up and break-down) but there will be a design requirement which will vary depending on the event. In some cases the purpose of the exhibition will be to promote Fife with respect to particular themes such as engineering/manufacturing, food and drink or renewable energy. It should be noted that with the current situation around COVID it is unsure how this service will proceed in the future as there is no way to predict how this will continue to affect work practices but this framework is being put in place to ensure Fife Council have provision when and where required. In addition to the Exhibition Programme, there are a number of other public or community events including local conferences, information events and the Council’s pavilion at the Open Golf where exhibition stands will be required. The requirement relates to the aim of the Council plan under the Inclusive Growth and Jobs area, it will help to improve investment, growth and participation by businesses, people and communities, in the aim to support businesses to grow and to make sure that communities benefit from new business investment.
