Tender description

Recognising that young people from disadvantaged families and communities do NOT progress their learning to level 3 in same way as their peers from less deprived communities - current attainment gap at age 19 is 32% which significantly above the national average of 25%. The project will seek to test and trial transition approaches with disadvantaged level 2 learners at Wirral Met College. Over 67% of the learners aged 16 to 18 at Wirral Met College are from the top 20% most deprived ward areas in the borough.
