Tender description

Work elements include, but are not limited to; Survey of the existing building services including locations of pipework, containment and plant, associated controls and control wiring and electrical containment, wiring and interfaces and new plant screen. • Strip-out and replacement of the existing 'Mapress' pressfit pipework and insulation throughout the building as identified on the layouts accompanying this specification. • Strip-out of the existing roof mounted natural gas fired boiler, pipework and associated equipment. • Strip-out of the existing solar thermal collector and associated equipment. • Strip-out of the existing heating and cooling Ground Source Heat Pumps located within the ground floor plantroom, decommissioning of the existing GSHP installation including existing GSHP bore holes and strip out of all associated secondary pipework running within the building. Primary GSHP pipework entering the ground floor plantroom shall be suitably capped at floor level following de-commissioning. • Decommissioning of the heating and cooling Ground Source Heat Pump primary circuit in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines and requirements. • Isolation and strip out of the existing hot water services system including all existing LTHW pipework as identified on the drawings accompanying this specification. • Strip out and modifications of the existing controls associated with the strip out / re-configuration of existing systems. • Installation of new controls associated with the new LTHW and CHW air source heat pumps. • Installation of a new point of use system for domestic hot water, including all associated electrical works • Installation of new modular LTHW Air to Water Heat Pumps. • Installation of a new modular CHW Air to Water Heat Pump. • New and modifications and strip out of electrical services associated with existing equipment being removed and new ASHP and point of use electrical water heater installations. • Communication process including liaison and engagement.
