Tender description

The Mayor's Private Rented Sector(PRS) Partnership has identified the shortage of appropriately skilled staff as one of the most significant barriers facing London boroughs in acting against criminal landlords. The Greater London Authority (GLA) is seeking to develop a Better Renting programme of learning and training opportunities to build capacity in London boroughs' private rented sector (PRS) enforcement teams. Phase one of the programme was the development of a course syllabus by the Chartered Institute of Environmental (CIEH) that will form the basis of the course to be delivered in phase 2. This requirement is for Phase two of the Programme, and the GLA is seeking a learning provider to develop and deliver the CIEH syllabus as a comprehensive PRS qualification, accredited by CIEH. This is to include the development of the course syllabus into a teachable course curriculum (with all learning materials), publicising the course to prospective learners; enrol learners as students; and deliver the one-year course for a contract term of two years.
