Decent Neighbourhoods - Townhill Park Phase Two Improvements Works

Tender description

Southampton City Council invites applications from suitably experienced contractors who wish to tender for one contract: (1) The works comprise of Improvements Works and associated landscaping consisting of block paving, footpaths reinstatements, new car parks, street furniture, ground works and associated buried utility services, fencing, bin stores, drainage and soft landscaping. All construction information is to be provided by Capita Property and Infrastructure. MacArthur Crescent and Vanguard Road are estates managed by Southampton City Council. Both sites are housing estates comprising of a total number of 7 and respectively 3 Blocks of Flats and a network of footpaths and roads with residential car parks, play areas, all set within a considerable amount of amenity green space. The estates are in a critical state of disrepair and in need for an upgrade to all landscape infrastructure. Deadlines for submission of prequalification questionnaires are to be by Thursday 5th March 2015. Time 12:00. It is anticipated that tender docs will be issued as follows (1) Townhill Park Phase Two Improvements Works at MacArthur Crescent and Vanguard Road, Townhill Park, Southampton - Tender Documents will be issue end of March 2015 with a commencement on site early July 2015. The expected duration of the contract is 40 weeks. It is anticipated that tender docs will be issued to a minimum of three and maximum of eight tenderers will be invited to tender for the works.
