Southampton City Council invites applications from suitably experienced contractors who wish to tender for one contract: (1) The works comprise of the construction of a new external passenger lift shaft, lift, lift lobby, and vehicular access route to the rear of the building. The project includes an element of Contractors Design for the pre-fabricated lift shaft and lift based on a performance specification Manston Court is a supported housing complex comprising of 60 flats and a communal lounge with associated Kitchen and WC’s. The accommodation houses vulnerable older people, many of whom have additional care needs which often entail colleagues from outside agencies visiting them to help with personal care meaning that access to the properties is vital. Deadlines for submission of prequalification questionnaires are to be by 13th March 2015 Time 2pm.
