Concrete Burial Chambers

Tender description

We require a three-year contract for concrete burial chambers that surround a body or casket when placed in the ground. We currently order between 50 and 90 chambers a year. The chambers must have four sides, an interlocking lid and must be bottomless. Our current external dimensions are 8ft x 3.8ft x 2ft and our current internal dimensions are 7.6ft x 3ft x 2ft.The current weight of the chamber is 420kg and this weight cannot be exceeded due to lifting capacity at our crematorium. We will order the chambers via PO emailed to the supplier unless the order is urgent in which case the crematorium manager can chose to order by phone. The chambers will then be delivered to our storage area at The Vale Crematorium in Luton within 48 hours of ordering unless otherwise agreed.
