Tender description

A ground investigation is required for the Beamish and Crawford Quarter Infrastructure project, which is located in the southwest of Cork City centre. The proposed development includes the construction of two new pedestrian and cycle bridges over the south channel of the River Lee, public realm improvement work to the surrounding streets and quay wall remediation. The ground investigation works consist of cable percussive boreholes with rotary follow-on, slit trenches, trial pits, quay wall foundation inspection pits and groundwater monitoring. Sampling is also required to classify the various strata and enable laboratory testing
