Tender description

The Crawford Art Gallery is seeking to establish a single-party framework agreement for architect led integrated design team services for the redevelopment of the Gallery and surrounding areas. The design team will comprise the following principle disciplines: — architectural design including design team lead; — civil AND structural engineering; — mechanical AND electrical engineering; — landscape architect; — conservation architect; — project management; — planning consultant; — archaeological consultant; — PSDP services; — BREEAM Consultant or equivalent; — LEED Consultant; — assigned certifier; — design certifier; — fire safety consultant; — DAC Consultancy; — other ancillary services as required. The Gallery is embarking on a significant renewal programme designed to transform its spaces and the services it provides to its visitors, physical and virtual, and in the way, it presents and interprets its exhibitions and collection. Our vision places the needs of today’s and future audiences at its heart. It will do this through a transformed building that will be more attractive and welcoming. There will be enhanced space for display and exhibitions, which will allow us to welcome a larger number of visitors and provide a more enjoyable and enriching experience.
