315 - Independent Chair - Wigan Education Partnership

<p>Wigan Council are seeking a suitably experienced Independent Chair to chair the Wigan Education Partnership &ndash; the principal body that unites the existing collaborative, system-led model with a strategic vision that ensures we improve outcomes for children and young people across Wigan through utilising the skills and expertise of all key professionals across all phases. The successful candidate will be required from January 2021, for a two year period that will include 6 meetings a year plus any other relevant work related to the work of the Board. Board meetings are currently taking place virtually each half term, but will return to physical meetings in the Wigan Borough. The daily rate will be negotiable. Deadline for applications is Tuesday 5th January 2021. Interviews will take place on 14th and 15th January.
