Thermal insulation work

Tender description

Requirement for external insulation and roof works to seventy-four [74] council owned units [end terraced/mid terraced] through offsite pre-constructed panels assembled and fitted onsite to achieve higher energy efficiency [EnerPhit] level of insulation. The works will combine traditional on site retrofit improvements with off-site construction and will consist of pre-fabricated external panels to the front and rear with external wall insulation applied to the gable and party walls. Windows and doors will also be replaced to provide high levels of air tightness and roof replacement with PV will supplement energy use within the properties. MVHR will be introduced as part of a ventilation strategy and a range of internal measures including underfloor insulation will also be required. All on site works are required to be completed by March 2021.
