Tender description

The University invites expressions of interest from suitably experienced retail operators to participate in this market engagement exercise. Queen’s University Belfast and Queen’s Students’ Union may seek to tender for a partner with significant retail experience to work collaboratively on the development of a new Students’ Union Shop. The new shop will be situated within the new student centre and is due to open in September 2022. In order to understand market offerings and to fully develop our formal tender requirements, the University would like to engage with operators that have significant experience in the provision of branded retail and convenience shops, to gather their views and feedback. This notice is for early market engagement only and does not preclude any supplier or advantage/disadvantage any supplier from any future procurement. It is not a call for competition and the University are not seeking formal offers at this point. The University will not be liable for any costs whatsoever resulting directly or indirectly from this early market engagement exercise.
