Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers

Tender description

This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of a nationwide contract for the servicing and maintenance of all fire extinguishers throughout the organisation (the “Contract”). This will be a nationwide contract awarded to a single service provider for the service and maintenance of: Portable Fire Extinguishers (CO², AFFF, Water etc) and associated equipment (Fire Blankets, Hose Reels etc) maintenance to include the recording of all discharge testing completed, the maintenance of all asset registers, and provision of fire safety training to IE personnel. The successful company will also be required to ensure that IE are at all times compliant with IS291. The Contract the subject of this competition is a contract for three years with an option to extend by a further two years entirely at IE’s discretion, subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract]. The Contract Notice is referred to in Section 3.1 of this PQQ. The form of Contract will be issued with the Invitation to Tender (ITT) at the ITT stage of this procurement process, to all Applicants who pre-qualify for the ITT stage of the process, under this PQQ, subject to IE’s decision (in its sole discretion) to proceed to the ITT stage of the competition.
