Tender description
Lot 1: Accommodation and support for looked after children, including Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC- 16 to 18 year olds). Typically moving from foster care/residential in a planned way as they prepare for independence; Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children typically placed as part of the National Transfer Scheme; Lot 2: Accommodation and support for care leavers (16 years-25 year olds). Care leavers, young people who have spent 13 weeks after their 14th birthday and are in care on 16th birthday; Lot 3: Accommodation and support for young people with complex needs (16-25 year olds). The cohort would include young people who are 16-25 years and who have complex needs which can include mental health and/or addictions, developmental issues and involvement in the criminal justice system; Lot 4: Accommodation and support for young parents and child. Accommodation for parents and children with the parent aged between 16-25 years whilst providing housing related support to maintain independence and help to secure accommodation in order to move on to independent living. Moving from foster care/residential in planned way as they prepare for independence; separated children seeking asylum, typically placed as part of the national transfer scheme. Care leavers, young people who were in care for 13 weeks after their 14th birthday and are in care on their 16th birthday. Cohort would include young people who are 16-25 years of age who have left secure accommodation at the end of a custodial sentence or who are awaiting court and likely to have a custodial sentence. It might also suit young people who have been repeatedly evicted from other shared/semi-independent provision. Accommodation for parents and children with the parent aged between 16 – 25 years whilst providing housing related support to maintain independence and help to secure accommodation In order to move on to independent living.
