Tender description

Provision of turbine maintenance and overhaul services for GNI (UK) Ltd's Solar Turbines Mars 100 and Taurus 70 gas turbine fleet. GNI (UK) Ltd currently relies on solar manufactured equipment as the prime movers for 70 % of the compressor fleet, located at the 2 compressor stations in Scotland. Those 2 stations are critical nodes on the GNI network and their availability and reliability is key for ensuring the security of gas supplies to Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Isle Man. The contract for provision of turbine maintenance and overhaul services ensures that the existing Solar equipment is constantly monitored and promptly repaired or replaced as the need arises. The contract will be for 5 years with the option to extend by a maximum of further 2 years.
