Tender description

Enabling services including ecology services, archaeology services and arboriculture surveys. Anglian Water Services (AWS) is looking to award framework agreements to multiple bidders for the provision of enabling services for use by AWS and its alliance partners. Successful bidders will work collaboratively with AWS to deliver our purpose; ‘To bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop’. This procurement will be conducted in 3 lots: Lot 1: Ecology Services; Lot 2: Archaeology Services; and Lot 3: Arboriculture Surveys. Bidders with the highest scores will be awarded on to the frameworks, with up to a maximum of: ecological Services x 12 suppliers, archaeological services x 8 suppliers, arboriculture surveys x 12 suppliers. Agreements will be for up to 5 years with 3 x 12 month extension options per agreement to deliver the requirements set out in the specification and draft contract documentation which will be provided to bidders. Work will be primarily allocated on a call-off basis, however in certain circumstances there will be provision for suppliers to enter into mini-competitions once the framework agreements are in place. AWS believes the key benefits of these agreements will be: — agreed and consistent methodologies for these services to be delivered across the whole Anglian Water Services (AWS) region, — potential for biodiversity net gain in accordance with relevant legislation and AW’s target of at least 10 % net gain, — consolidation of spend across the AWS region and potential for delivery of savings, — alignment to AWS outcomes, — enhancement of the supplier base within the AWS region.
