Tender description

Warwickshire CC on behalf of Coventry City Council and Warwickshire County Council have commissioned a single provider to maximise 16-18 year olds participation in education and training (EET) and to minimise NEET(Not in Education, Employment or Training) and Situation Not Known. The service provider will identify young people who are NEET through tracking activities and by ensuring clear referral routes to other organisations, including learning providers, identifying young people who are dropping out of learning provision and require support to overcome barriers The service aims to: — encourage, enable and assist young people to participate in education and training, — raise awareness of local labour market opportunities, — raise aspirations – setting high expectations of every individual, — link to the local authorities for planning and data collection for the Department for Education (DFE), — link with National Careers Service providers, NEET delivery providers and JobCentre Plus. Warwickshire CC on behalf of Coventry City Council and Warwickshire County Council have commissioned a single provider to maximise 16-18 year olds participation in education and training (EET) and to minimise NEET (Not in Education or Training) and Situation Not Known. An open tender process will be used. Applicants should be aware that volumes and block contract amounts may increase if additional funding becomes available or may decrease if funding reduces, during the term of the contract. The services may also be subject to modification in order to meet future changes in demands/needs or new initiatives.
