The original contract had an extension period of 2 years; LCC have elected to pursue one year whilst we retender for amended and increased scope of works and budget. This shall be pursued through a seperate contract notice and process, so if interested please be alert for an updated contract notice being placed in Contracts Finder.. This original Contract was for the inspection, maintenance, repair and modification of Department for Transport TR2207 type Approved Rising Bollards Control Systems The extended Contract for the 1 year intervening period before formal tender covers three distinct elements of the required service:- a. Rectification of faults resulting from fair wear and tear. b. Rectification of faults made necessary by any cause other than by fair wear and tear and other minor repairs, which will be chargeable. c. Daily Inspection(s) of Equipment (incl raising and lowering).
