Tender description

Copeland Borough Council has appointed an architect to develop the design for a high-quality, eco-friendly café facility on the beach front at Silecroft in the Western Lake District. The requirement is to develop the design for a purpose-built single-story building, which would become a critical tool in supporting the visitor economy in the Western Lake District as well as catering for the significant number of local users who currently use the beach for a wide variety of recreational activities. The final drawings will then need to be fully costed and taken to the end of RIBA stage 4 ready for tendering for the construction phase.
