Tender description

Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) is a not for profit consortium which establishes and manages a range of framework and DPS agreements. Our membership has now grown to over 200 public sector organisations including housing associations and ALMO's, local authorities, NHS trusts, education providers, blue light services, government agencies and charities. EEM are conducting this tender exercise to procure a Windows and Doors framework. The framework will be tendered and awarded based on the following core lots: • Lot 1 - Supply Only of Windows and Doors. Lot 1 is to provide EEM Members with a route to enter into contract with suppliers who will be able to manufacture, supply and deliver windows and doors sets. The scope of the EEM0073 Framework has been separated into two different lots, as follows; • Lot 2 - Supply and Installation of Windows and Doors. Lot 2 is to provide EEM Members with a route to enter into contract with suppliers who will be able to manufacture, supply, deliver and install windows and doors sets. EEM have built this Framework to be on a National Coverage basis. Additional information: EEM wishes to procure and enter into framework agreements with multiple Suppliers for the provision of windows and doors required to maintain and construct domestic housing, public and commercial properties and other buildings that are the responsibility of EEM and the other consortia to repair, renew, refurbish or maintain. This Framework will be open for use by Members or by their Approved Contractor(s). Contractors can apply for any mixture of the defined workstream lots. Up to four Suppliers will be appointed to each of the workstream Lots. Please note that the total potential value stated in II.1.5) is in relation to the full 4-year framework and takes into consideration the lot structure and that the EEM membership may grow over the framework lifetime. This framework is being procured by Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) on behalf of their members and the other organisations described below as being authorised users. The following organisations will be entitled to agree and award contracts under this framework agreement as authorised users: 1) any existing Member of EEM (and for the avoidance of doubt the 3 partner consortia which for the avoidance of doubt currently includes 3 partner consortia - Westworks, South East Consortium and Advantage South West and South East Consortium).
