Tender description

Department of health and social care is seeking to establish a framework agreement with multiple suppliers for the provision and supply of vitamin D supplements to to support those most vulnerable with their vitamin D levels to protect their musculoskeletal health. Tenders are invited for the supply of individual packs each containing 120 individual daily doses of vitamin D supplements of 10 micrograms (400 IU) for a fixed proportion of the CEV. The amount required is expected to cover approximately 1 840 000 people for a 4-month period from January 2021. Lot 1 is for the supply of vitamin D Supplements. Lot 2 is for the supply and associated logistics services of vitamin D supplements. Framework agreement for the supply and where applicable, associated logistics services, for vitamin D food supplements to those on the Clinically Extremely Vulnerable list (‘CEV’) where this need is particularly important.
