Tender description

Concierge and fire warden services (meaning waking watch) for Newlon Housing Trust's Estate — East London (Hackney and Haringey). The service consists of four main elements: concierge, inspection and patrol; key holding and the office. Concierge service three sites — all now 24 hours but one reducing in due course. Some blocks and estates have a full concierge and CCTV service, those blocks also receive the patrol and estate inspection service. Patrols occur monthly or weekly to buildings inside and out. General duties include: — reporting communal repairs; — inspecting all public parts of the building and cupboards; — checking that keys and access arrangements are working. Arranging key cutting where necessary; — checking plant and equipment for faults; — ensuring fire doors are shut.
