Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of Works to Ulster University. The Tenderer shall provide the Works in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements as set out in the Employer’s Requirements (Document 2 of the ITT Documentation) and the Contract. Tenderers shall include within their Commercial Submission (Document 5 of the ITT Documentation) all sums required to provide the Works in accordance with the Contract. The works comprise a new footpath from block MS (adjacent the Strand Road) to the rear of block MG (adjacent the Student’s Union) and include the following: - General clearance of shrubbery and planting - Partial demolition of a listed wall - Concrete block and natural stone paving - Brick and natural stone faced retaining walls - Concrete steps - Stainless steel handrails - Road resurfacing - Shrub planting - Benches and miscellaneous furniture - Public lighting - Drainage installation and modifications
