Procurement of Detailed Design Team and Project Management Services for Development of Cahir Market House Business Centre

Tipperary County Council (the Client) is seeking the full range of complimentary consultancy detailed design team services to act as Project Supervisor Design Process and to develop a detailed design based on the granted Part 8 planning design, complete tender and construction documentation, provide a tender evaluation and appointment recommendation, inspect work on site and issue statutory and non-statutory certification to completion of the defects’ liability period. The selected Consultant shall provide a complete detailed design team services including Architectural, Conservation Architect, Project Management, Civil & Structural, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers and Designers to produce detail specifications for the building’s architecture, structure, mechanical and electrical systems, energy conservation, renewable energy systems, IT, telecommunications and produce tender drawings and construction drawings for same. Also required is Quantity Surveying services including cost forecasts and production of a Bill of Quantities in accordance with the requirements of the project, the client’s needs, the relevant legislation, standards and guidelines, the current Irish Building Regulations and all statutory requirements. Initially the Consultant is required to bring the Project through Stage (ii), Detailed Design. Progression to subsequent stages is dependent on a successful Category 1 Funding Application to the Rural Regeneration Development Fund. Whilst it is expected that this application will be successful and funding will be made available to continue with the project, the Client reserves the right to revise this strategy.
