Tender description

PPE Ref 6636 Direct award for the Upgrade of EVOS Microscopes Upgrade to 3 existing eight year old EVOS Microscopes with the retention of long lived component which are covered under supplier extended warranty. Direct award made to comply with the reformed EU Public Procurement Directive regulations for single source requirements. Only the OEM can upgrade these microscopes. As such competition is absent for technical reasons under Regulation 6 (1)(b)(ii) of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016 (the sole supplier exemption).
