Tender description

Health Performance Visualisation Platform — Phase 2 using an open tender process for all 50 acute public hospitals with on-going support and maintenance included. Phase 2 of a Health Performance Visualisation Platform (HPVP) Programme by the Health Service Executive (HSE) will implement an automated approach to acute hospital information management that will produce timely, meaningful insights and reports on an on-going basis across 50 acute hospital sites, to ensure evidence is at the core of routine decision making and improvement planning. The HPVP will be a single centralised access point for information with reporting across three levels: national view, hospital group level or regional health area (RHA) and hospital operational level. The HSE needs to be able to plan and monitor system-wide activity and capacity in real time, or near-real time, to ensure that activity levels are maximised, while at the same time ensuring the safety of patients and staff. The HPVP implementation is intended to address this across all public hospitals in Ireland. Phase 1 of the Programme involved implementation of a preconfigured Platform across 28 acute public hospitals, focusing on automated information from key acute hospitals to ensure strong visibility of hospital flow. Phase 2 will ensure the solution is in place for all 50 acute public hospitals.
