Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, installation and support of a High-Resolution Scanner Equipment Suite - Scanner plus supporting 6-axis arm - which will provide the ability to conduct high resolution metrology to confirm design and process fit and support critical manufacturing tooling. The scanning arm will enable the process of accurately extracting geometry and information from an object in order to recreate, manipulate or improve functional components and assemblies. The scanner will be an industrial grade metrology device designed for inspection, dimensional analysis, CAD comparison, tool certifications and reverse engineering applications on parts and assemblies. It should deliver high fidelity colour scanning and allow users to view, inspect and manipulate detail-rich, true colour point clouds of parts or assemblies.
