Tender description

The school of physics and astronomy and the school of chemistry have received funding for a new material characterisation facility which will become a part of the centre for designer quantum materials. The facility will include: Lot 1: system for the measurement of physical properties such as charge transport and specific heat with a Lot 2: second system to specialise in SQUID based magnetic property measurements. Section I/System I - Measurement system for physical properties Base system option 1: Liquid helium dewar with nitrogen jacket Base system option 2: Liquid helium dewar/vapour shielded Base system option 3: Cryogen free dewar Please see tender documents for full details.
