Tender description
Waterford City and County Council are looking to appoint a suitably qualified consultant to carry out the necessary analysis and reporting to enable the making of the Housing Strategy including HNDA for the Development Plan 2022 – 2028. This will be a new unitary development plan for Waterford City and County replacing three existing operable development plans for Waterford City, Waterford County and Dungarvan town. The development plan will be informed by a new Core Strategy and associated changes to land-use planning in a manner which is consistent with the NPF, RSES and Waterford City MASP. The new unitary development plan will shape the future growth of Waterford City, Waterford County, the key town of Dungarvan and other urban and rural settlements over the period 2022 – 2028, and will set the foundation for subsequent development plans and local and urban area plan cycles thereafter.
