Tender description

Aberdeenshire Council requires the provision of outreach housing support services for young people and adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The duration of this contract is from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2024, with two potential one-year extensions. Adults Outreach Housing Support Service for Adults aged 21 and over. The support provided will be tailored to provide person centred support to meet the needs of every supported person. The support should be flexible to meet every person’s individual needs with the key aim to provide support to work towards independent living and allow those supported to sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness. The service will support up to 350 clients per month. Young Persons Outreach Housing Support Service for those aged 16-20, and for those who are care leavers up to age 25 where a housing support need has been identified by housing options or social work services who retain the statutory duty to support care leavers up to age 25. The support provided will be tailored to meet the needs of each young person, providing those with the necessary life skills to make the most out of their lives giving them a better quality of life and to support them meet their full potential. The support will be flexible to meet the young person’s changing needs, with a key aim to enable young people to sustain and maintain their tenancies. The service will support up to 125 clients per month.
