Gorey Town Park -Supply and installation of a CCTV system at Gorey Town Park, Gorey, Co. Wexford

Tender description

Wexford County Council requires the services of a security company licensed by the Private Security Authority (PSA) to install a CCTV system at Gorey Town Park, Gorey, Co. Wexford. The system comprises of a total of 18no IP cameras made up of the following; • 5no IP PTZ cameras • 12no IP outdoor dome cameras. • 1no IP indoor dome camera. • 17no cameras will be linked by means of a wireless transmission system to Gorey Civic Offices via the Garda Telecommunications Mast at Gorey Garda Station with a wireless backlink to Gorey Garda Station from the Civic Offices. Cameras to be installed as follows; o 15no cameras on camera poles, o 2no cameras on a building, o 1no camera will be installed indoors. All relevant local permissions/wayleaves have been obtained by Wexford County Council. Installation of the camera poles, mini-pillars, power supplies and associated civil works are being undertaken by a separate contractor and all poles and power supplies will be in place prior to the installation of CCTV equipment. Wexford County Council reserves the right to proceed with some or all of the CCTV locations. The project will proceed in 2 stages. Stage 1 – installation of 5no PTZ cameras & 1no indoor dome camera, CCTV server, wireless transmission system and associated works. – Work to proceed on award of contract. Stage 2 will proceed subject to authorisation being received from the Garda Commissioner.
