A market engagement questionnaire will be provided following the webinar. Please return your completed questionnaire via email to HS2 Ltd Supply Chain Team at scc@hs2.org.uk by 12 p.m. (UK time) on 8 January 2021. HS2 Ltd intends to procure Third Party Telecommunications Systems. The purpose of the Prior Information Notice (‘PIN’) is to issue a pre-procurement engagement questionnaire to understand the level of appetite within the market for the following requirements. HS2 Ltd would like to engage with your organisation in order to: (a) provide potential suppliers with an update on the scope and procurement approach; (b) give potential suppliers the opportunity to give feedback on HS2 Ltd.'s intended approach; (c) Test market appetite to bid for the Third Party Telecommunications Systems procurement. HS2 Ltd currently proposes splitting Third Party Telecommunications Systems into two distinct contracts. • third party telecommunications design and build — third party managed assets under a design and build procurement model. This contract includes: — passenger communication systems (including an operator provision for the testing and trial operations phases), — emergency services network (including an operator provision for the testing and trial operations phases), — station data network (fixed, operational Wi-Fi and public Wi-Fi). • third party telecommunications maintain and operate (subject to a separate procurement exercise).
