BCHC-19-0049 Supply & Implement an Electronic Prescribing Administration System

Tender description

1)The purpose of this procurement is to supply and implement an effective and affordable EPMA system which will start to create the desired future working environment across all its locations within 12 months from the date of contract award of April 2021. Existing systems in use include R4 by Carestream Dental, Ascribe by EMIS and RiO EPR by Servelec. 2)The contract period will be five fixed years plus two optional years consisting of two periods of up to twelve months in each. The expected start date for the contract is April 1st 2021 3)The tender award process will be through further competition using the NHS SBS Healthcare Clinical Information System : Lot 6 : Prescribing Systems and those suppliers awarded to that Lot. Suppliers not awarded under this Lot will not be considered. 4)The tender will be awarded on a single supplier basis only for the entire period of the contract. 5) Access to all information relating to this tender is through the Trust e-tendering portal : https://procontract.due-north.com/register 6)All bids and supplier clarifications will only be accepted through the above portal , any bids or queries submitted outside or directly to a Trust member will be rejected and/or not actioned. 7)The deadline for the submission of bids is 17.12.20 at 12 noon and no further extensions will be permitted 8)Supplier clarification deadline is December 10th 2020 after which no further clarifications wil be accepted.
